Role Summary
Sr. Manager, FP&A (Corporate) – Shockwave Medical at Santa Clara, CA. Responsible for corporate consolidation, reporting, and providing strategic financial insight to support executive decision-making for the Shockwave Medical franchise within Johnson & Johnson.
Responsibilities
- Own the corporate-level FP&A consolidation processes for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Lead the preparation, management, and presentation of the annual operating plan and routine forecast updates
- Lead the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial statements and executive dashboards for senior leadership
- Develop and manage robust processes and controls to ensure data accuracy across regions and functions
- Provide strategic financial insights and variance analysis related to consolidated performance (revenue, OPEX, EBITDA, cash flow)
- Partner with Accounting, Tax, and FP&A teams to align on financial results and consistent assumptions
- Manage and improve the financial planning system and tools
- Lead and develop a team of FP&A professionals; provide mentorship and performance management
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and executive decision-making as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years of FP&A experience or equivalent
- Required: Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Required: Experience with Adaptive Insights; Oracle Fusion a plus
- Preferred: Prior experience in medical device or healthcare industry
- Required: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Required: People management with focus on engagement and development
- Required: Ability to interact with senior level executives
- Required: Ability to work independently or as part of a team in changing priorities
