Role Summary
Head of Executive Protection and Travel Security responsible for leading strategic initiatives to safeguard senior executives, VPs, and employees during travel. Oversees design and implementation of advanced security protocols and risk mitigation as part of the Global Security team. Aligns security measures with corporate objectives, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops a comprehensive travel security management program.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team responsible for the physical protection of senior executives and high-risk personnel.
- Design and implement personalized executive protection programs tailored to individual needs.
- Ensure 24/7 global protection capability for executives, including risk assessments and secure transportation.
- Collaborate with the corporate legal team to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and conduct training programs for executive protection personnel and senior executives.
- Develop and execute a global travel security program with risk assessments and threat monitoring.
- Establish a crisis management framework for travel-related incidents.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of safe and secure destinations.
- Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities proactively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate executive protection strategies into corporate policies.
- Oversee incident management and response, leading investigations and resolutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the executive protection and travel security team.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, International Relations, or related field.
- Required: Minimum of 12 years of experience in security management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Required: Experience managing high-profile or high-risk personnel protection programs.
- Required: Extensive knowledge of global security threats and emerging trends.
- Required: Experience in managing security for a global organization.
- Required: Exceptional crisis management and decision-making capabilities.
- Required: Ability to communicate security protocols to diverse stakeholders effectively.
