Role Responsibilities
- Personally design, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research studies end to end (sampling, instrument design, statistical analysis) to uncover customer pain points and workflows without external vendors.
- Translate findings into actionable insights for product design and development.
- Integrate AI into research workflows to accelerate study design, data collection, analysis, and synthesis while maintaining methodological rigor.
- Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features based on user impact and KPIs.
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Mentor junior researchers and promote best practices.
- Advocate for customer-centric solutions within engineering teams.
- Build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human-Centered Design, Psychology, Market Research, or related field; plus quantitative/statistical background.
- 7+ years (BS) or 5+ years (MS) in CX/UX/product research with hands-on study execution.
- Proficiency in qualitative research, experimentation, and usability methods; strong applied statistics (experimental design, power analysis, significance testing) applied to behavioral/telemetry data.
- Hands-on ability to plan, field, and analyze studies and experiments without external vendors using tools such as Python/R; survey/statistical software (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS).
- Experience integrating AI into research workflows to improve speed, scale, and quality of insights.
- Comfort managing multiple concurrent priorities; experience in agile product development.
- Ability to synthesize complex qualitative and behavioral data into compelling narratives.
- Proficiency with UserZoom, Qualtrics, Medallia, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying behavioral insights in product design.
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Annual base salary: $124,400–$207,400 (U.S.); bonus target 17.5% of base; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; includes 401(k) matching, retirement contribution, paid vacation/holidays/personal days, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits (medical, dental, vision, prescription drug).
