Sr Field Reimbursement Manager, Immunology Gastroenterology

Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) (field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city). Cities: Orlando, FL; Melbourne, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement support tools and services
- Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options (e.g., specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution)
- Educate on resources available to address access issues
- Provide local expertise on national/regional payer policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes
- Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory
- Stay current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management; 3+ years in a specific therapeutic area with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement
- Excellent territory and account management skills
- Extensive experience educating others on payer processes and coverage requirements for specialty medicines
- Ability to communicate technical coding and billing requirements at National/Regional level
- Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and associated reimbursement dynamics
- Understanding of specialty medicine drug acquisition and dispensing (Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, white-bagging)
- Knowledge of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services and compliant interaction with access/reimbursement support service centers
- Bachelor’s degree; valid driver’s license
- Satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities/organizations in assigned territory (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and required state/city licenses)
