This role is field-based. Candidates should live within the territory: Long Island, Manhattan, Staten Island, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Philadelphia PA, Washington DC and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Clinical Account Executives (CAEs) across the Mid-Atlantic region to transform the lives of patients impacted by cancer through customer engagement, key account management, and compliant promotional execution.
- Develop people through coaching, feedback, and career development.
- Translate strategy into purposeful execution via clear priorities, disciplined coaching, and consistent follow-through.
- Serve as an expert in product knowledge and disease state; stay current on the hematology/oncology marketplace.
- Strategically execute brand strategy locally to positively impact the business.
- Cultivate a culture of performance, inclusiveness, and personal growth grounded in trust and accountability.
- Manage budget and resources to maximize impact on patients.
- Lead Key Account Management (KAM) by aligning in-field teams around shared account priorities.
Required:
- Bachelorโs Degree.
- 7+ years of sales experience within pharma/biotech.
- History of consistently delivering top results.
- Leadership mindset (curiosity, humility, self-awareness, continuous learning).
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Business acumen: understanding how strategy, KAM, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration drive performance.
- Ability to lead without authority with cross-functional teams.
- Coaching ability to develop CAEs (what they do and how they think).
- Applies data, critical thinking, business insight, and sound judgment for timely decisions.
- Adaptability in ambiguity and change.
- Capacity/desire to grow into broader leadership.
- Driving a personal or company vehicle; valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
Preferred (not required):
- Oncology experience, preferably hematologic malignancies.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Experience as a people leader.
