Lead and develop a team of Clinical Account Executives (CAEs) across the Southwest region to enhance AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma leadership through:
- Exceptional customer engagement
- Key account management (KAM)
- Compliant promotional execution
Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop CAEs; provide feedback and career development
- Translate strategy into disciplined execution with clear priorities and follow-through
- Serve as product/disease-state expert (hematology/oncology marketplace)
- Execute brand strategy locally to positively impact the business
- Cultivate a performance, inclusiveness, and personal growth culture grounded in trust/accountability
- Manage budget and resources to maximize patient impact
- Lead KAM by aligning in-field teams around shared account priorities
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years in pharma/biotech
- Oncology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies
- Proven top-performance results
- Leadership mindset and capability; ability to inspire teams
- Business acumen, influence across cross-functional teams, coaching ability
- Data/critical thinking/sound judgment; agility with ambiguity
- Ability to drive personal or company vehicle
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe-driving requirements
Preferred (not required):
- MBA/advanced degree; experience as a people leader
