Field-based role—candidates should live within the territory (New Mexico, Oklahoma, Dallas TX, Colorado Springs CO, Wichita KS and surrounding areas).
Lead a team of Clinical Account Executives (CAEs) across the High Plains region to enhance AbbVie’s leadership in Multiple Myeloma through exceptional customer engagement, key account management, and compliant promotional execution. Foster high performance and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Coach, provide feedback, and support career development to maximize CAE strengths
- Translate strategy into purposeful execution with clear priorities and follow-through
- Serve as an expert in product knowledge, disease state, and the hematology/oncology marketplace
- Execute brand strategy locally
- Cultivate a culture of performance, inclusiveness, and personal growth grounded in trust and accountability
- Manage budget/resources to maximize patient impact
- Lead Key Account Management by aligning in-field teams around shared account priorities
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree; 7+ years in pharma/biotech
- Oncology experience (preferably Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies)
- Proven top performance; leadership mindset and capability
- Business acumen, influence across cross-functional teams, and coaching ability
- Data/critical thinking for timely decisions; adaptability in ambiguity
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; drive personal/company vehicle
Preferred (not required):
- MBA or other advanced degree; experience as a people leader
