This role is field-based; candidates must live within the territory (New Mexico, Oklahoma, Dallas TX, Colorado Springs CO, Wichita KS and surrounding areas).
Lead a team of Clinical Account Executives (CAEs) across the High Plains region to enhance AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma leadership through exceptional customer engagement, key account management, and compliant promotional execution. Create clarity, build belief, develop people, and inspire purposeful execution delivering lasting business results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop people via coaching, feedback, and career development
- Translate strategy into execution through clear priorities and consistent follow-through
- Serve as an expert in product knowledge, disease state, and the evolving hematology/oncology marketplace
- Strategically execute brand strategy locally
- Cultivate a culture of performance, inclusiveness, and personal growth grounded in trust and accountability
- Manage budget and resources to maximize patient impact
- Lead Key Account Management (KAM) by aligning in-field teams around shared account priorities
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years pharma/biotech experience
- Oncology experience (preferably Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies)
- Consistent top results; leadership mindset/capability; business acumen; influence without authority
- Coaching capability; aptitude (data/critical thinking/judgment); agility (ambiguity/evolving environments); talent for growth
- Ability to drive (personal or company vehicle) + valid driver’s license; pre-employment drug screen and safe driving requirements
Preferred (Not Required):
- MBA/advanced degree; experience as a people leader
