Senior Director, Medical Affairs – Respiratory

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and lead respiratory therapy strategy and medical affairs planning across all geographies with a cohesive approach.
- Lead medical affairs activities across Medical Excellence, HEOR, Field Medical, and Medical Information; ensure cross-functional collaboration and a One Insmed approach.
- Drive medical affairs plan development and execution to deliver launch planning milestones.
- Provide medical leadership input to clinical, operations, HEOR, and commercial partners.
- Build external respiratory therapy-area relationship network to support the franchise.
- Develop data generation strategy (including gap analysis) to evolve product data generation and support OneMedical.
- Review publications; create medical backgrounders, FAQs, standard responses, and internal training approach.
- Develop thought-leader engagement strategy and plan.
- Partner with Medical Strategy, Regions, and Finance to plan and manage annual medical activity budget.
- Identify and integrate innovative ideas/best practices into strategies, plans, and activities.

Qualifications:
- MD with prior pulmonology/respiratory experience.
- Leadership experience across Medical Affairs.
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.

- Ability to develop innovative approaches; work independently in cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading by influence in matrixed teams; operational excellence and planning standards.
- Collaborative mindset across stakeholders; strong attention to detail; strategic, connect-the-dots thinking.
- Proven change leadership; strong written/verbal communication; creative problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have:
- Board Certified Pulmonologist.
- ILD or IPF/PPF experience.
- Global experience or multiple regions (including US).

Work & travel:
- Fully remote; occasional travel for team meetings/events.
- Frequent domestic/international travel up to 25%.

Pay range:
- $273,000.00–$372,000.00 annual.
