Role Summary

Senior Director of Capital Sales, OTTAVA – East or West US. Field-based, US-wide role with remote options, reporting to the General Manager OTTAVA US. Responsible for planning and directing the capital sales strategy for OTTAVA Platform in the US, building a high-performing sales organization and driving growth in a rapidly expanding surgical robotics market.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, and directs all aspects of the capital sales strategy for OTTAVA Platform in the US based on company goals and objectives.
  • Ensures effective implementation and execution of strategies to create a long-term growth trajectory for OTTAVA Platform by building robotics programs with strong clinical support.
  • Provides people leadership of a growing capital sales organization, driving development, inclusion, and building capabilities to succeed in the future MedTech robotic environment.
  • Responsible for capital sales goals and delivery of forecasted revenue on a quarterly basis.
  • Delivers the capital sales strategy to achieve profitable growth through procedural volume from clinical champions.
  • Leads a high-performing, agile, customer-focused capital sales organization; develops a diverse leadership pipeline and promotes an inclusive, engaged workforce.
  • Drives talent development and people development agenda with Credo-based leadership.
  • Develops relationships with key hospital executives and opinion leaders.
  • Ensures healthcare compliance and ethical integrity are championed and practiced at all levels.
  • Develops internal and external partnerships to facilitate collaboration and establish industry presence.
  • Delivers weekly reports detailing SMART goals, KPIs, and funnel growth to meet quarterly sales goals.
  • Manages daily/weekly/monthly deliverables with the Ottava GM to ensure opportunities progress through the sales pipeline.
  • Delivers marketing and sales tactics to drive competition and awareness of the OTTAVA brand in target markets and support rapid adoption.
  • Additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with complex medical capital equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience growing complex medical capital equipment, including hardware, software, and disposables, within target markets.
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and technical written communication skills.
  • Clearly aligned guiding principles intended to create a unified customer experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on leadership, relationship development, and influence management.
  • Exceptional customer focus and relationship-building skills across a diverse group of clinical and nonclinical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational leadership with the ability to inspire and mobilize teams.
  • Experience selling complex capital solutions using a Challenger-style approach or adaptability to new selling styles.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Travel up to 80% domestically to build the OTTAVA business in each market within a given territory.
