Role Overview
The Cell Therapy Account Specialist represents Legendโs products and services to a defined customer base, generating and growing sales and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets within a specific geographic area.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive multiple myeloma CAR-T brand choice among institution-based oncology customers.
- Understand Legend and competitor products and the complexities of the disease state.
- Navigate complex accounts; identify stakeholder needs/issues and triage to internal teams.
- Understand geography-specific issues and opportunities.
- Provide timely insights to cross-functional teams based on HCP interactions (trends and therapeutic landscape changes).
- Develop and implement an account business plan to meet customer needs and corporate goals.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects; may co-promote with outside partners.
- Identify and resolve issues/opportunities; communicate with marketing and sales management; manage territory budget plans for external expenditures.
- Represent Legend at national and/or local symposiums/conventions.
- Model appropriate compliance and business conduct.
- Complete administrative requirements (call activity/customer info reporting, expenses, etc.).
- Report adverse events to Drug Safety per guidelines.
- Promote appropriate product use per Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree from an accredited college/university.
- Minimum 4 years pharma/biotech sales in specialty, oncology, or rare disease.
- Proven track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives.
- Experience managing/executing in large accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
