Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the multi-year brand strategy for the Legacy Parasiticide portfolio.
- Design and execute competitive strategies to defend market share.
- Partner with Regulatory, R&D, and Innovation to advance lifecycle management (LCM), including line extensions, new indications, and packaging innovations.
- Advocate for the portfolio with senior leadership on brand trajectories, resources, and funding needs for future innovations.
- Architect messaging platforms and value propositions for pet owners (B2C) and veterinary professionals (B2B).
- Partner with Vet Sales and Retail to create โsales-readyโ marketing programs that drive share-of-voice.
- Lead agency partners to develop best-in-class creative assets and marketing materials.
- Translate research, consumer behavior data, and customer feedback into strategic pivots and business cases.
- Monitor category trends, dispensing data, and competitors to identify opportunities/threats and adjust tactics.
- Manage and coach an Associate Brand Manager; elevate department marketing capabilities and promote inclusive leadership.
- Own the Legacy Parasiticide portfolio budget, maximize ROI, and meet sales/profit goals.
- Partner with Demand Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver accurate forecasts.
- Prepare high-impact presentations for senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree (Marketing/Business)
- 5+ years Brand/Marketing experience
- 2+ years Pet Retail experience
- People management experience
- Cross-functional partnership experience
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Pet Health or CPG brand management; retail marketing and eCommerce preferred
- Strong analytics, attention to detail; data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication/presentation; fast-paced prioritization
- Regulated-environment brand management experience; strong organizational/implementation skills
