About the Role
- Drive demand by reinforcing product brand and Takeda value.
- Present Takeda products and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop and apply business processes to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Responsibilities / What you bring
- Support account onboarding (education and procedures).
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand belief continuum.
- Provide clinical education and in-services; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Manage accounts in practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute brand strategy within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCPs, decision makers, support staff, and influencers.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies and cultivate customer engagement.
- Develop and sponsor medical education opportunities; stay current on disease states and treatments.
- Maintain accurate records of appointments, calls, samples, and key contacts; communicate ideas/data verbally and in writing.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Preferred: healthcare/medical device/pharma/biotech sales experience; experience calling Dermatology and/or Immunology.
- Strong team collaboration.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Travel
- Drive/fly to meetings and client sites; ~25–50% overnight travel.
Training
- Must pass mandatory product training (written and oral exams). During training, classified as non-exempt (overtime eligibility only during training; no sales incentives/bonuses). After passing, transitioned to exempt and paid bi-weekly (eligible for incentives/contests).
Compensation & Benefits (USA–MI–Detroit)
- Hourly wage range: $56.35–$77.48.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time/year, and up to 120 hours paid vacation (new hires).
