Job Summary
- The Specialty Sales Representative drives brand awareness and product adoption in an assigned geography following launch by providing clear, balanced, compliant product and disease-state education to healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
- Field-based role focused on executing territory strategies, building customer relationships, and expanding adoption across assigned accounts; works cross-functionally with internal teams for account planning and to navigate access dynamics.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead territory performance through focused territory and account plans.
- Deliver in-person and virtual, compliant product education; adapt messaging based on customer needs.
- Build relationships with prescribers, influencers, and key stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption.
- Establish credibility through consistent follow-through and value-driven interactions.
- Identify opportunities to expand product use by understanding customer workflows.
- Learn payer/access dynamics; partner to support patient access and remove barriers.
- Demonstrate initiative and resilience in evolving/ambiguous situations.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation and comply with policies, regulations, and training.
Candidate must live in the territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent education/experience).
- 2+ years of field-based sales or customer-facing experience; pharmaceutical/specialty/healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience supporting launches or growth-oriented initiatives is a plus.
Required/Preferred Skills
- Relationship-building and communication; ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity to learn clinical/scientific/product information.
- Business acumen; comfort using CRM/technology.
- Collaborative mindset and personal accountability.
Additional Requirements
- Travel to meetings and within territory (overnight travel may be required).
- Valid U.S. driverβs license; credentialing to access healthcare facilities.
Compensation/Benefits
- Base salary: $120,000β$155,000; may include performance-based incentive compensation.
- Eligible for equity and 401(k) matching; 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision.
