About the Role
- Drive demand for assigned products by reinforcing product brand and Takeda value.
- Present Takeda’s products and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop and apply business processes to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support account onboarding, including education and procedures.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver the clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand belief continuum.
- Support initial clinical educational support and in-service for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer discussions).
- Conduct account management in practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals and key metrics in the assigned territory using discretion to execute franchise/company brand strategy.
- Build relationships with HCPs, decision makers, support staff, and influencers to support product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved marketing materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by cultivating local decision-maker relationships.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states and treatments.
- Maintain accurate records of appointments, sales calls, follow-ups, samples, and key contacts.
- Communicate ideas and data verbally and in writing (public speaking/presentations).
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Healthcare/medical device/pharma/biotech sales experience preferred.
- Experience calling Dermatology and/or Immunology a plus.
- Strong team collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Travel / Training
- Ability to drive/fly to meetings and client sites; 25–50% overnight travel.
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams) as a condition of continued employment.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- U.S. hourly wage range: $56.35–$77.48.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time/year, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires (based on eligibility).
