Specialty Representative / Senior Specialty Representative – Primary Care (Repatha)
Responsibilities:
- Provide current, comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following up on medical education, and meeting/exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Develop and manage accounts; customize discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales activity effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn.
- Maintain product passion throughout the sales cycle, building the brand with patient impact in mind.
Basic Qualifications – Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree OR
- Associate’s degree + 4 years of sales experience OR
- High school diploma/GED + 6 years of sales experience
Basic Qualifications – Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of sales and/or non-sales clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field OR
- Associate’s degree + 6 years of sales and/or non-sales clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field OR
- High school diploma/GED + 8 years of sales and/or non-sales clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices; product or hospital sales in relevant specialties (e.g., oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases)
- Local market knowledge; established territory relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
- Adaptability with core competencies (planning/organizing, business/industry/technical knowledge, communicating with impact, driving results, cultivating relationships)
