What You Will Do
- Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help them navigate the payer environment.
- Implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager (primary customer contact).

Responsibilities:
- Communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization of products.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages; conducting planned programs; scheduling and following up on medical educational programs; and meeting/exceeding sales targets (in-person and virtual).
- Manage accounts by customizing interactions based on customer needs; ensure product access; resolve/triage reimbursement issues; and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales activity and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn and grow.
- Sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and keep patient impact forefront.

Basic Qualifications – Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree OR
- Associate’s degree and 4 years of sales experience OR
- High school diploma/GED and 6 years of sales experience

Basic Qualifications – Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales) OR
- Associate degree and 6 years sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales) OR
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales)

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales in pharma/biotech/medical devices; product/hospital sales in relevant specialties (oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases)
- Local market knowledge; established relationships in territory; degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration; adaptability to core competencies.
