Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative – Cardiovascular
Responsibilities:
- Provide current/comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate product utilization.
- Serve as a sales leader to achieve territory sales via branded messages, planned programs, scheduling/follow-up of medical educational programs, and meeting/exceeding sales targets in-person and virtually.
- Develop and manage accounts: tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn/grow.
- Maintain product passion throughout the sales cycle while keeping patient impact at the forefront.
- Uphold science-based, ethical Amgen values and remain accountable.
Qualifications:
Basic—Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s + 4 years sales OR High school/GED + 6 years sales.
Basic—Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s + 3 years sales and/or non-sales clinical experience OR Associate’s + 6 years sales and/or non-sales clinical experience OR High school/GED + 8 years sales and/or non-sales clinical experience.
Preferred:
- 3+ years sales in pharma/biotech/medical devices; product/hospital sales in listed specialties; local market knowledge; established territory relationships; Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business Admin; proficiency in planning/organizing, business/technical knowledge, impactful communication, results, and relationship building.
