Field-based role; candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city (Seattle, Everett, Olympia, Spokane). Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field; manage assigned territory and targeted accounts.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create SMART pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations to improve performance; handle objections and close each sales call.
- Build trusted customer relationships by proactively serving customer needs and achieving win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency for key customers.
- Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market dynamics, accounts, disease, products, and clinical/sales expertise; share intelligence to optimize brand strategy.
- Differentiate the value proposition with assigned health providers; identify/develop/maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; relevant equivalent industry experience required.
- At least 5 years in pharmaceutical/health/science industry (3+ years preferred); high school diploma/GED required.
- Proven sales success; strong presentation skills; ability to adapt selling approach and provide innovative solutions.
- Influences others; credible role model; collaborative and able to coach in changing environments.
- Documented leadership/support success with increased responsibility.
- Preferred: sales performance success in therapeutic areas; physician/account-based selling and managed health care or marketing experience; English proficiency.
- Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities; may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses.
- Demonstrated scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and use of business tools; strategic/critical thinking; matrix effectiveness.
- Ability to drive personal or company vehicle; valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
