Field-based role covering Knoxville, Chattanooga, and the Tri-Cities Area (Northeast TN). Candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city.

Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy/tactics in the field to deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Build pre-call plans (SMART objectives), perform post-call evaluation, and handle objections to close sales calls.
- Serve customer needs and build trusted relationships; achieve win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency for key customers.
- Build and share market intelligence (customer needs, competitors, disease/product/clinical expertise) to align brand strategy and execution.
- Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition; identify/develop disease state experts and speakers/advocates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; otherwise 5+ years relevant industry experience (3+ years in pharma/health/science preferred) and a high school diploma/GED required.
- Proven success in selling; strong presentation skills; adapts selling approach; offers innovative solutions.
- Influences others; credible role model; collaborative partnership; leadership in district/region.
- Preferred: sales performance in relevant therapeutic areas; commercial pharma experience (e.g., physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, marketing); English proficiency (as applicable).
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities; may require background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses; maintain good standing.
- Driving: personal/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment; valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
