This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships and solve customer needs to maximize short- and long-term sales performance, placing the patient at the center and operating in accordance with company code of conduct and applicable laws.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call objectives and complete post-call evaluations; handle objections and drive to effective next steps.
- Proactively serve customer needs to build trusted relationships and win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute a call plan to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Build and share market and clinical intelligence (customers, competitors, disease/product knowledge) with in-field and brand teams.
- Differentiate value proposition with assigned health providers; identify and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business preferred; otherwise at least 5 years relevant industry experience (3+ years preferred) and high school diploma/GED required.
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and strategic/critical thinking.
- Ability to adapt selling approach; leverage insights to develop sales strategies.
- Operates effectively in a matrix environment; influences and coaches others.
- Preferred: Proven sales track record; physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care or marketing experience; English proficiency.
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities in assigned territory (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, licenses).
- Valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
