Field-based role: candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.

Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in field; effectively manage assigned territory and targeted accounts.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call plan objectives; conduct post-call evaluation to improve performance.
- Handle objections/concerns and consistently gain appropriate calls to action to close sales.
- Proactively serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to achieve call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Build and share market intelligence (customer needs, landscape, competitors, segments/dynamics, disease/product/clinical & sales expertise) to align strategy.
- Differentiate the value proposition with assigned health providers; identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred or relevant equivalent industry experience required.
- In lieu of bachelor’s: at least 5 years experience (3+ years preferred) in pharmaceutical/health/science; high school diploma/GED required.
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and use of business tools; strategic/critical thinking.
- Adaptable selling approach; leverages insights to develop sales strategies.
- Proven sales success; solid presentation skills; effective in matrix environments; offers innovative solutions.
- Influences others; credible role model; collaborative with district colleagues/matrix team.
- Leadership by example; documented success supporting increased responsibility.
- Preferred: sales success in respective therapeutic areas; physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing experience.
- English proficiency (for non-English speaking countries).
- Satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to enter assigned facilities; responsible for meeting requirements.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
