Field-based role. Candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field to drive sales performance; manage assigned territory and targeted accounts.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call plans, perform post-call evaluations, handle objections, and secure appropriate calls to action to close.
- Build trusted customer relationships by proactively serving customer needs and creating win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute a call plan to meet call metrics and optimize customer coverage/frequency.
- Build and share market/clinical/product/sales intelligence with in-field teams, brand team, and sales manager.
- Differentiate value proposition with health providers; identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelorโs degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or equivalent industry experience required.
- In lieu of degree: 5+ years relevant experience (3+ years preferred) in pharmaceutical/health/science; high school diploma/GED required.
- Leadership success, strong presentation skills, business acumen, strategic/critical thinking.
- Adapt selling approach to customer behavior; effective in matrix environment.
- Preferred: sales success in therapeutic areas; physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing experience.
- Preferred: in-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; recognized expert.
- Preferred: English proficiency (verbally and in writing).
- Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities (may include background checks/drug screens/immunization proof/fingerprinting).
- Valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; safe-driving requirements.
