Field-based role; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city.
Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy/tactics in the field to deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create SMART pre-call plans; perform post-call evaluations to improve performance; handle objections and close calls to action.
- Build trusted customer relationships by proactively addressing customer needs/challenges and achieving win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency to key customers.
- Build and share market intelligence (customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical/sales expertise) with in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to optimize brand strategy.
- Differentiate the value proposition; identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or equivalent.
- Proven success in selling with solid presentation skills.
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; recognized as an expert resource.
- Strong business acumen; strategic/critical thinking; proficient use of business tools.
- Ability to adapt selling approach; operates effectively in a matrix environment.
- Preferred: therapeutic-area sales success; physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing experience; English proficiency (for non-English-speaking countries).
- Valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
- Ability to travel to cover territory and attend training/sales meetings; drive personal or company vehicle/equipment.
- Satisfy and maintain HCIR credentialing requirements for assigned facilities (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses).
