This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city (Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Kalamazoo, MI).

Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy/tactics in the field to deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create SMART pre-call plans; conduct post-call evaluation to continuously improve; handle objections and close calls with logical, reasonable next steps.
- Build trusted customer relationships by proactively addressing customer needs and achieving win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency to key customers.
- Build and share market intelligence (customer needs, competitors, disease/product/clinical expertise) with in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to align strategy and anticipate changes.
- Differentiate value proposition; identify/develop/maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates.

Qualifications (required unless noted):
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or relevant/equivalent industry experience required (5+ years; 3+ years in pharma/health/science preferred; high school diploma/GED required).
- Proven sales success and strong presentation skills; adapts selling approach; offers innovative solutions.
- Influences others; collaborative and acts as credible role model; leads by example and coaches peers.
- Documented leadership success supporting increased responsibility (district/region/org levels); develops sales strategies.
- Preferred: success in sales performance in relevant therapeutic areas; commercial pharma experience (physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing); English proficiency.
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements for entry into assigned facilities (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, licenses); maintain good standing/eligibility.
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and business tools; strategic/critical thinking; effective in matrix environments.
- Ability to drive (personal/company vehicle or powered equipment) and hold a valid driverโ€™s license; pass pre-employment drug screening.
