Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders; develop and communicate strategic plans/priorities/workstreams; ensure timely, objective communication of insights and recommendations.
- People Leadership: Lead and develop Competitive Intelligence Leads; set clear expectations/accountability; foster a high-performing, collaborative culture; help team adapt to changing priorities.
- Operational Excellence: Prioritize resources for highest-value opportunities; maintain quality, compliance, and ethical standards.
- Enterprise Leadership: Sponsor Global Competitive Intelligence initiatives (process improvements, capability development, new tools/technologies); lead cross-therapeutic area and enterprise-wide strategic assessments.
Education Minimum Requirement
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MD, PhD, or equivalent) required.
Required Experience and Skills
- 15+ years in biotech/pharmaceutical industry with strong people management experience.
- Strong scientific understanding across therapeutic areas.
- Broad knowledge of global pharma/biotech and drug discovery/development.
- Superior stakeholder management; demonstrated leadership/influencing; creativity, problem-solving, complexity management; build collaborative relationships.

Location/Work Model
- Hybrid: in-office 3 days + offsite/remote 2 days; not 100% remote. Based in Rahway, Upper Gwynedd, or West Point (PA).
