Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Build trusted relationships with senior R&D and Human Health leaders; develop and communicate strategic plans/workstreams for pipeline/commercial/business development decisions; ensure timely, objective communication of insights and recommendations.
- People Leadership: Lead and develop Competitive Intelligence Leads (coaching, feedback, growth); set expectations, drive accountability, foster a collaborative culture; help team navigate change.
- Operational Excellence: Prioritize resources for highest-value opportunities; ensure quality, compliance, and ethical conduct.
- Enterprise Leadership: Sponsor Global Competitive Intelligence initiatives (process improvements, capability development, new tools/technologies); lead cross-therapeutic/enterprise strategic assessments.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MD, PhD, or equivalent) required.
- 15+ years in biotech/pharmaceutical industry with strong people management experience.
- Strong scientific understanding of therapeutic areas.
- In-depth knowledge of drug discovery and development; broad understanding of global pharma/biotech.
- Superior stakeholder management; demonstrated leadership, influencing, creativity, problem-solving, and complexity management; build collaborative relationships with senior management.

Work Location
