Specialty District Manager responsible for planning and implementing district sales plans and coaching for success. Builds and leads the district sales team; provides support and coaching; establishes and manages relationships with key customers, professionals and internal stakeholders; manages district sales business operations (policies/procedures, budgets, sales/account data, etc.). Leads and manages teams of Specialty Sales Representatives and Specialty Account Managers promoting Takeda biotech products to medical professionals.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement market-based business strategies to achieve sales objectives and maximize product exposure/opportunities; create business plans using data and account/market analysis.
- Evaluate business opportunities/strategies and provide recommendations and solutions to business challenges to RSD and district sales team.
- Recruit, train, and develop Specialty Sales Representatives and Specialty Account Managers; coach, delegate, motivate, and create a learning environment.
- Create and support integrated account/sales teams through collaborative working relationships.
- Implement sales and marketing programs supporting U.S. growth in assigned district.
- Ensure self and team accountability for achieving sales and company objectives/goals.
- Ensure compliance of selling activities with State and Federal regulations.
- Provide strategic input to Marketing to develop and evolve the marketing plan.
- Build productive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (health systems, group practices/networks, prescriber thought leaders/decision makers) within assigned geography/therapeutic areas.
- Develop relationships with internal business partners; serve as liaison across functions and sales/marketing personnel.
- Partner with Regional and National Account Managers on managed market issues and initiatives to maximize sales.

Required:
- BS/BA degree.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in pharma/immunology/biologic-biotech/medical devices (district management, specialty account management, marketing management, and/or product management or equivalent).
- Strong business and strategic planning skills; ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Ability to coach/delegate/motivate a sales team with timely feedback.
- Ability to analyze complex data to develop strategic, actionable business plans.
- Verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong experience with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- MBA or Master’s Degree.
- Experience with infusionable/injectable products.
- Account-based sales experience (e.g., hospitals, health systems, infusion centers, large group practices).
- Experience in Immunology and Gastroenterology.
- Biological product launch experience.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to meetings/client sites; attend local and national meetings and training.
- Overnight travel to support district.
- Travel 50–75%.

Compensation and Benefits (explicitly stated):
- U.S. base salary range: $176,000.00 - $242,000.00.
- May be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives.
