Role Responsibilities
- Plan and execute independent Medical strategies/engagements for external medical stakeholders across an assigned US territory; coordinate with Pfizer colleagues to meet Medical objectives.
- Maintain TA/disease-state and Pfizer medicines knowledge; provide therapeutic area/product information.
- Serve as a resource for Medical Information and external stakeholder insights; share external viewpoints with Pfizer as appropriate.
- Contribute to Medical educational content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Deliver scientific communication across channels (presentations, written, phone/virtual) and educate stakeholders based on patient care gaps aligned to medical strategy.
- Lead/participate in advisory boards, manage inbound medical inquiries via triage, support Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR), identify trial sites (including under-represented populations), and provide medical support as needed.
- Reactively/proactively communicate with local Patient Advocacy Groups; deliver insights on structure/capabilities/patient needs.
- Maintain scientific collaboration and conduct all activities per applicable policies/compliance.
Qualifications
- MD or DO required.
- 4+ years relevant experience; recognized subject matter expert.
- Strong leadership, oral/written communication, interpersonal skills, change agility, and ability to prioritize/manage remote project volume.
- Matrix/teamwork leadership; self-starter with urgency and accountability.
Preferred
- Familiarity with SOPs/Rules/Regulations for external medical stakeholder interactions.
- Previous Field Medical experience.
- Therapeutic area experience (ATTR-CM or closely related) strongly preferred.
Travel/Environment
- Travel 40β50%; operate company car; valid US driverβs license; impaired driving in past 7 years disqualifies.
- Must reside in MN, IL, IN, IA, or WI.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Base salary: $230,900β$384,800; eligible for Global Performance Plan (bonus target 25%) and long-term incentive.
