Role Summary
- Specialty Care Field Medical, Director provides therapeutic area/product expertise across external medical stakeholders and initiatives in an assigned US territory.

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute independent, compliant medical strategies and engagements; coordinate with Pfizer colleagues to meet Medical objectives.
- Maintain expertise in TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines; share therapeutic area/product information with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and capture/share external stakeholder insights.
- Contribute to medical educational content strategy and execute aligned field tactics.
- Deliver scientific communication across multiple channels (live/virtual presentations, written, calls).
- Optimize patient care improvement using health literacy and cultural awareness.
- Educate external medical stakeholders on patient care gaps aligned to medical strategy.
- Conduct all activities in accordance with policies/procedures/compliance guidance.
- Field Medical: deliver approved medical content; identify priority stakeholder engagements; respond to unsolicited requests per guidance; lead advisory boards (with oversight).
- Support inbound triage queries; partner on clinical trial site identification; provide ISR support; cultivate research expertise; asset leadership.
- Lead study design/data concepts discussions; lead territory activities; engage Patient Advocacy Groups with HQ/Corporate Affairs collaboration.

Basic Qualifications
- MD or DO.
- 4+ years relevant experience.
- Subject matter expert; strong oral/written and interpersonal skills; leadership and change agility; ability to manage remote workload and prioritize; matrix collaboration.
- Demonstrated clinical/technical skills; rapid adoption of digital tools and recording interactions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Pfizer/external medical stakeholder SOPs/rules/regulations.
- Previous Field Medical experience.

Non-standard Work/Travel
- Fly and use company car; travel ~40–50%; valid US driver’s license; DUI/DWI within past 7 years disqualifies.

- Annual base salary range: $230,900–$384,800; bonus target 25% and eligible long-term incentive; comprehensive benefits (401(k), vacation/holidays, leave, medical/dental/vision).
