Role Summary
- Director, Specialty Care Field Medical responsible for therapeutic area/product expertise across external medical stakeholders and initiatives in an assigned territory.

Role Responsibilities
- Plan and execute compliant medical strategies and engagements; coordinate with Pfizer colleagues to meet Medical objectives.
- Maintain TA/disease-state and product knowledge; provide therapeutic information to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as conduit for Medical Information and external stakeholder insights; share viewpoints with Pfizer as appropriate.
- Support medical education content strategy and aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Deliver scientific communication across channels (presentations, written, phone/virtual).
- Incorporate health literacy and cultural awareness to improve patient care through communications/deliverables; educate stakeholders on patient care gaps and guideline-based care.
- Lead advisory boards (with manager oversight); respond to unsolicited medical requests via triage.
- Support Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR); partner on identifying clinical trial sites (incl. under-represented populations).
- Cultivate therapeutic area expertise (latest congress data/literature); understand study design/methods/data interpretation.
- Provide patient advocacy group communications; deliver insights on local patient organization needs.
- Represent Medical Affairs leadership; provide asset leadership; mentor; participate in special projects.

Basic Qualifications (Required)
- MD or DO.
- 4+ years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent oral/written communication, strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead change and manage competing priorities, and self-starter/accountability.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment; adopt digital tools and record medical interactions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SOPs/rules/regulations for external interactions.
- Previous Field Medical experience.
- ATTR-CM (or closely related) therapeutic area experience strongly preferred.

Travel/Environment
- Fly regularly; travel 40–50%. Valid US driver’s license; no DUI/DWI/impaired citation within past 7 years.
- Territory: MN, IL, IN, IA, WI (reside in one).

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Base salary: $230,900–$384,800; bonus target 25% and long-term incentive eligibility; comprehensive benefits including 401(k), paid time off, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and medical/dental/vision.
