Objectives:
- Drive demand for assigned specialty products by reinforcing brand value and Takeda value.
- Present Takeda products and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts (IBD).

Accountabilities:
- Support account onboarding (education and procedures).
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand belief continuum.
- Provide initial and ongoing clinical education/in-services for medical staff (e.g., infusion procedures); coordinate HCP education programs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in smaller/less complex GI practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics using approved brand/franchise strategies; build relationships with decision makers, support staff, and influencers.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; present complex clinical and business information to gastroenterologists and relevant groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience (5 years preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; strong collaboration.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation/influencing skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- Experience with injectable/infused IBD products; reimbursement issue management.
- Biological launch experience; calling on gastroenterologists.
- Experience discussing therapeutic strategies; 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.

Training/Licenses/Travel:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel 25–50% (drive/fly; some overnight).
