OBJECTIVES
- Drive demand for assigned IBD product by reinforcing the brand and Takeda value.
- Present Takeda products and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Use business processes to achieve sales goals and objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support account onboarding (education and procedures).
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand belief continuum.
- Provide clinical education/support and in-services for medical staff (e.g., infusion procedures).
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in smaller GI practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics; execute brand strategy within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCPs, decision makers, support staff, and influencers.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to gastroenterologists and related groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states and treatments.
- Manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office support).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) or relevant clinical/industry experience (5+ preferred).
- Business/strategic planning; collaboration; managed care understanding.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Live within or near assigned geography.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Injectable/infused IBD experience; reimbursement expertise; biological launch; experience calling on gastroenterologists; local marketing execution; 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral). External hires are non-exempt and eligible for overtime only during training; training time ≀8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week. After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS & TRAVEL
- Valid driver’s license.
- Drive/fly to meetings and client sites; 25–50% overnight travel.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS (as stated)
- USA hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
