Objectives:
- Drive demand by reinforcing the product brand/value and presenting Takeda’s IBD specialty products.
- Optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.

Accountabilities:
- Support account onboarding (education/procedures).
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers across a brand belief continuum.
- Provide clinical education/in-services for medical staff (e.g., infusion procedures).
- Coordinate clinical education for HCPs (including peer-to-peer discussions).
- Manage accounts in smaller/less complex GI practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics through approved brand and franchise strategy.
- Build relationships with HCPs and decision makers to support appropriate product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; cultivate key local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to gastroenterology professionals and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (5+ preferred) or relevant clinical/industry experience.
- Business/strategic planning; adaptability.
- Strong collaboration.
- Managed care landscape understanding.
- Strong verbal/influencing/presentation/written communication.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred:
- Injectable/infused IBD experience; reimbursement/biological launch experience.
- Experience calling on gastroenterologists; therapeutic strategy discussions.
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.

Training/Licenses/Travel:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive/fly; 25–50% overnight travel.

Compensation/Benefits (U.S. hourly range): $63.51–$87.31; may be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time/year, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
