Specialty Business Manager (Utah – Virtual)

How you will contribute:
- Research prospective Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to identify customer stakeholders to present complex clinical and business information on products/services (including Gastroenterologists and professional/patient groups).
- Use insight and consultative selling to educate HCPs and offer perspectives linked to Takeda solutions.
- Engage in clinical discussions to address patients’ needs, execute brand strategies, maximize sales growth in a geography; coach stakeholders and build consensus.
- Collaborate with partners on routing and resource utilization to maximize overall footprint performance.
- Independently and collaboratively strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue learning/professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.
- Conduct business in accordance with all regulations/policies; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies; develop/apply clinical & business expertise and effective selling skills.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5 years related selling experience.
- Local marketing execution; business/strategic planning; managed care knowledge.
- Team collaboration; injectable/infused IBD (IBD) product experience.
- Complex reimbursement experience; biological product launch; experience calling on Gastroenterologists.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to meetings and client sites; 25–50% overnight travel.

Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of mandatory product training (written/oral exams).

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable to the role section):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31. May be eligible for short-term incentives and certain benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, etc.).
