OBJECTIVES
- Drive demand for assigned specialty products by reinforcing product brand and Takeda value.
- Present products and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in IBD.
- Apply business processes to achieve sales goals and objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support account onboarding, education, and procedures.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand belief continuum.
- Provide initial and ongoing clinical education/in-services for medical staff (e.g., infusion procedures); coordinate HCP education (peer-to-peer, programs).
- Manage accounts in smaller GI practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCPs and decision makers to support product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategy and build customer engagement with key local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to gastroenterologists and relevant stakeholder groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (5 years preferred) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience.
- Strategic planning and business skills; strong team collaboration.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with injectable/infused IBD products.
- Managed reimbursement communication; biological product launch.
- Calling on gastroenterologists; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Local marketing execution; 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS & TRAVEL
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive/fly; 25–50% overnight travel.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS (as stated)
- Maine (Virtual) hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
- Possible short-term incentives.
