Specialty Business Manager (Manhattan and Bronx territory) β Gastroenterology Specialty Sales Team
How you will contribute:
- Research prospective HCPs to identify customer stakeholders for complex clinical/business product presentations.
- Use consultative selling to educate HCPs and connect insights to Takeda solutions.
- Lead clinical discussions on patientsβ needs; execute brand strategies to maximize sales growth in geography; coach stakeholders and build consensus.
- Collaborate with partners on routing/resource utilization to maximize footprint performance.
- Strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings.
- Pursue learning/professional development (sales, communication, product knowledge).
- Conduct business per regulations/policies; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
Minimum qualifications:
- BS/BA.
- 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years successful selling at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies; develop/apply clinical & business expertise and effective selling.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years selling experience; local marketing execution; managed care knowledge; injectables/infused IBD experience; reimbursement complexity; biological launch; call on Gastroenterologists.
Licenses/Travel:
- Valid Driverβs License; drive/fly; 25β50% overnight travel.
Training requirement: Pass mandatory product training (written/oral).
