Specialty Business Manager (Manhattan and Bronx Territory) โ€” Gastroenterology Specialty Sales Team

How you will contribute:
- Research prospective HCPs to identify key stakeholders to present complex clinical and business information on Gastroenterology products/services.
- Use insight and consultative selling to educate HCPs and connect their needs to Takeda solutions.
- Engage in clinical discussions to discuss patientsโ€™ needs, execute brand strategies, maximize sales growth in assigned geography, coach stakeholders, and build consensus.
- Collaborate on routing and resource utilization to maximize footprint performance.
- Strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings.
- Pursue learning and professional development (sales, communication, product knowledge).
- Conduct business in accordance with all regulations/policies and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies; apply clinical and business expertise and selling skills.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5 years pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry) selling experience.
- Local marketing strategy execution; business/strategic planning.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Experience with injectable/infused IBD products; complex reimbursement issues.
- Biological product launch experience; calling on Gastroenterologists.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driverโ€™s License.

Travel:
- Drive/fly to meetings and client sites; some overnight travel (25โ€“50%).

Training:
- Mandatory product training with written/oral examinations; overtime eligibility during training (if applicable). After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51โ€“$87.31.
