Specialty Business Manager (Gastroenterology) β€” Manhattan North, NY territory (includes Bronx and Queens)

How you will contribute:
- Research prospective HCPs to identify customer stakeholders.
- Use insight and consultative selling to educate HCPs and link needs back to Takeda solutions.
- Engage in clinical discussions; execute brand strategies; maximize sales growth in geography.
- Coach stakeholders and build consensus for solutions within organizations.
- Collaborate with partners on routing and resource utilization.
- Strategize on solving deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales/medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue learning and professional development on sales, communication, and product knowledge.
- Conduct business in accordance with all regulations, policies, and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies and influence decision makers.
- Ability to develop/apply clinical and business expertise and selling skills.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5 years related selling experience.
- Local marketing strategy execution.
- Business/strategic planning skills; managed care landscape understanding.
- Experience calling on Gastroenterologists.
- Experience with injectable/infused IBD products and complex reimbursement issues.
- Biological product launch experience.
- Strong team collaboration.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License

Travel:
- Drive/fly to meetings and client sites; some overnight travel 25–50%.

Training requirements:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams). External hires are non-exempt during training and eligible for overtime during training only; no sales incentives/bonuses during training. After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

Benefits/Compensation (explicitly stated):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
