Specialty Business Manager IBD (Kansas - Virtual)

Responsibilities:
- Research prospective HCPs to identify appropriate customer stakeholders.
- Use insight and consultative selling to educate HCPs and connect solutions to their business needs.
- Conduct clinical discussions to address patients’ needs, execute brand strategies, maximize sales growth, coach stakeholders, and build consensus.
- Collaborate on routing and resource utilization to improve territory performance.
- Strategize on deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales/medical meetings.
- Pursue ongoing learning and professional development.
- Conduct business per regulations/policies; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
- Required: 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies and influence decision makers.
- Ability to apply clinical/business expertise and effective selling skills.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and influencing communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years relevant selling experience; experience calling on Gastroenterologists.
- Local marketing execution; managed care understanding.
- Injectable/infused IBD experience; reimbursement complexity.
- Biological product launch experience; team collaboration; business/strategic planning.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel:
- Drive/fly to meetings; 25–50% overnight travel.
