Specialty Business Manager (Gastroenterology Specialty Sales) β Jackson, MS territory (Mississippi - Virtual)
How you will contribute:
- Research prospective Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to identify customer stakeholders (including Gastroenterologists and professional/patient groups).
- Use insight and consultative selling to teach HCPs and link needs to Takeda solutions.
- Conduct clinical discussions to address patient needs, execute brand strategies, maximize sales growth, coach stakeholders, and build consensus.
- Collaborate on routing and resource utilization to maximize footprint performance.
- Strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales/medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue learning and professional development (sales, communication, product knowledge).
- Conduct business in accordance with regulations/policies; demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
Minimum requirements/qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelorβs degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies to influence decision makers.
- Ability to apply clinical/business expertise and selling skills.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5 years relevant selling experience.
- Local marketing strategy execution; business/strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Collaboration; injectable/infused IBD product experience; reimbursement issue experience.
- Biological product launch experience; experience calling on Gastroenterologists.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driverβs License.
Travel requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly; 25β50% overnight travel.
Training requirements:
- Successful completion of mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
U.S. hourly wage range (Mississippi - Virtual): $63.51β$87.31.
