OBJECTIVES:
- Drive demand by reinforcing the product brand and Takeda value.
- Present Takeda products and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts focused on IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease).
- Apply business processes that achieve sales goals and objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support account onboarding, including education and procedures.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand belief continuum.
- Provide clinical education and in-services for medical staff (e.g., infusion procedures).
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer discussions).
- Manage accounts in smaller GI practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCPs and decision makers to support use of company products.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement with local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to gastroenterologists and other decision-making stakeholders.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office support).

REQUIRED:
- BA/BS degree.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (5 years preferred) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience.
- Business/strategic planning skills; ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Team collaboration.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

PREFERRED:
- Experience with injectable/infused IBD products.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
- Biological product launch experience.
- Experience calling on gastroenterologists; discussing therapeutic strategies; local marketing strategy execution.
- Minimum 5 years direct selling to HCPs.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Valid Driverโ€™s License.

TRAVEL:
- Drive/fly to meetings and client sites; 25โ€“50% overnight travel.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of mandatory product training (written/oral exams) required; overtime eligibility during training period only per law.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
- USAโ€”OHโ€”Virtual. U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51โ€“$87.31.
