About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes opportunities in Dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts. Develops and applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts within Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy within the customer segment.
- Build working relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships and educating decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to office and institutional audiences.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments/market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS degree.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatologist/Dermatology calling experience (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License.

TRAVEL:
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; up to 25–50% overnight travel.

Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams). Training may be non-exempt (overtime eligibility during training only). After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary (explicitly stated):
- U.S. hourly wage range (USA - NY - Virtual): $63.51–$87.31.
