Responsibilities:
- Educate healthcare providers and support account onboarding and clinical/patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling and account management in dermatology practices, clinics, hospitals, and independent physician offices.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials to support safe/effective product use.
- Coordinate peer-to-peer and other clinical education programs; develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Attain territory sales goals and KPIs (e.g., product volume) and execute brand/franchise strategies within customer segments.
- Manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office support).
- Present complex clinical/business information to relevant decision makers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate patient-first values, uphold customer satisfaction standards, and follow all compliance policies, guidelines, and training.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience/calling on Dermatologists highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care; strong communication, influencing, and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driverβs License.
Travel: Drive/fly to accounts; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
Training Requirement: Complete mandatory product training with written/oral exams; during training may be non-exempt and eligible for overtime only during that period.
