Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver the clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Perform account management within dermatology practices/clinics/hospitals and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics by delivering product volume; execute brand strategy tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build professional relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messaging using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; continually update knowledge on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies and seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- Required: 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience with complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel:
- Drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Application/Training:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams); training is non-exempt with overtime only during training period. After passing, transitioned to exempt status.
