Responsibilities / How you will contribute:
- Drive demand via education after potential regulatory approval; educate Dermatology HCPs and optimize business in targeted physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding through education; perform clinical selling (clinical value proposition; advance customers across an educational continuum).
- Support initial clinical/patient access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other clinical education opportunities.
- Manage Dermatology accounts (practices, clinics, independent offices) and attain sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy.
- Build professional relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective use of products.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; present complex clinical/business information.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and business changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office support).
- Follow compliance policies, training, and seek clarification when uncertain.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience strongly preferred.
- Strategic planning; understanding of managed care; strong communication and collaboration.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
License/Travel:
- Valid Driverβs License; drive/fly to accounts; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
Training:
- Completion of mandatory product training (written/oral exams) required; may be non-exempt during training with overtime eligibility only during training.
Compensation/Benefits (summary from posting):
- NY (Virtual): $63.51β$87.31 hourly; possible short-term incentives; potential medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability/life, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holidays, well-being; up to 80 hours sick time; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
