About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval for the assigned product through education. Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) develops and applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along an education continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Perform account management in dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics (product volume and other KPIs) using franchise/company brand strategy and tactics.
- Build professional relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials/medical reprints, and therapeutic strategy discussions.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating and educating key local decision-makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience calling on Dermatologists (preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care and its impact.
- Strong verbal, written, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Travel/Licenses:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Training requirement (contingent):
- Completion of mandatory product training with written/oral exams.
