About the Role
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) develops and applies business processes to benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Engage in clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals and territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement through education of key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to office/institutional Dermatologists and other stakeholders.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Adhere to compliance policies and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Required: BA/BS; 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience OR 2+ years at Takeda; business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care; strong communication (verbal, influencing, presentation, written); collaboration; reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
- Preferred: 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on Dermatologists; managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; initial non-exempt classification with overtime eligible during training; after passing, transition to exempt status.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements
- Drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50% (as needed).

- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
