How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Engage in clinical selling activities, delivering the clinical value proposition and advancing customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Conduct account management activities within Dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals/objectives by delivering product volume and other key metrics in the assigned Territory.
- Establish professional working relationships with healthcare provider decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective use of company products.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships and educating key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to Dermatologists and other involved groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and the market.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market conditions.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts and occasional business meetings.
- Overnight travel up to 25–50% (as required).

Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent upon passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- During training: classified as non-exempt; eligible for overtime only; no sales incentives/production-based bonuses.
- Training includes live instruction, independent study, role play; up to 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week.
- After passing exams: transitioned to exempt status; paid bi-weekly; eligible for sales incentive programs/contests.
