How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Engage in clinical selling: deliver the clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Conduct account management within Dermatology practices, clinics, and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals/objectives by delivering product volume and key metrics in the assigned Territory; execute brand strategy/tactics within the customer segment.
- Build professional relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messaging to HCPs using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies, build customer engagement, and cultivate relationships with key local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to Dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies, guidelines, and training; seek clarification on compliance matters.

Minimum requirements/qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to changing market conditions.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, influencing, presentation) and collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings.
- Overnight travel up to 25–50% as needed.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range (New York – Virtual):
- $63.51–$87.31

Training requirements:
- Contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams); training may be non-exempt (overtime eligible during training only) and excludes sales incentives/production-based bonuses during training.
- After passing exams, transition to exempt status and become eligible for sales incentive programs/contests.
